Since I am not the kind of person to leave things alone, I decided to send an email across to the local supermarket and ask about them creating a meal deal.
Based on the manwiches they usually make, it seems a good idea to bundle a drink and some chippies in, like they do in good ol' England.
I got a response back from my email and it is being looked into and costed for this branch.
i reckon $5 is reasonable. My working were as follows:
Basic sandwich $3.5
Drink $1
Chocolate $1
Pretty much the way it always worked was the chippies or chocolate worked out to be free, so this is totally possible with the same margin being made. These are way better than your standard pre packaged sandwiches though, some some scaling back may occur.
